Who are y’all?

Introduction

Oklahoma Ordnance Company is a Type 07 Manufacturer of Firearms located in Ada, Oklahoma. We provide gunsmithing, manufacturing and retail firearm sales for both organizational and individual customers.

Okay but what does that mean?

It means we’ve got a license to make, buy, and sell some of the most fascinating machines ever conceived! As a company that specializes in curios, relics, exotics, and antiques we tend to come across some pretty interesting things, and we’ve made quite a few friends along the way.

How are you different from any other gun store?

Plainly put – we’re different because we’re not a gun store.

We like to think of ourselves as a service provider.

Whatever you have in mind for yourself, your mission, or your job – we want to find a gun that fits! Unlike most gun retailers, we refuse to stay behind the counter. Give us your parameters, and we will find the perfect weapon for you.

I can sense some of y’all’s next questions: “Why?”, “Why do this?”, “Who cares?”.

To answer them all directly: Because, I care.

Because when I founded this company I noticed something that was missing – an entire market of people being uncatered to. Who was that market? It was you, dear reader. Any other industry in world has a place like Oklahoma Ordnance, a place where you step into a room and your wants are actually taken into consideration.

A tailor, a barber, the overly friendly guy at the shoe store, hell even the guy at the counter at the video game store will actually point out something you might want, so why not a gun store?

Sure you can buy the clothes off the rack, get the ramen noodle haircut and pop on those shoes that don’t fit because your feet haven’t been measured since middle school, but I’m here to tell you that don’t have to settle for anything less than perfection when it comes to practicing your Second Amendment rights.

That sounds nice and all, but what are your guiding principals?

Thank you for asking a question that leads directly into my next talking points:

Our Values.

We like to keep it simple when it comes to stuff like this, so we’ve settled on three key points that we try to remember when serving you, our potential customers.

  1. Class: Many companies in the small arms world have embraced a spirit of toxicity and polarization that we refuse to conform with. I won’t point fingers, I won’t even say I don’t get where they’re coming from, but I believe the Second Amendment is for everybody, and I hope we as a company project that value.
  2. Compassion: We understand that firearms are weapons. They’re cool, they’re fun, and they’re useful, but they’re not for everyone – we vow to be responsible gun owners, and to use our knowledge and passion to educate and inform those with differing opinions respectfully.
  3. ThriftOklahoma Ordnance recognizes that, even though firearms are a constitutional right, for many they are a luxury – we will not push undo costs onto our customers.

Conclusion

It is these things, amongst others, that make up Oklahoma Ordnance – we are a small family of kin and friends trying to do business just a little differently.

In the end, I’m reminded of something I said when I decided to found this company, one cold January evening:

Oklahoma Ordnance might become a great company, but before anything it will be fun.
