Oklahoma Ordnance Company Shipping Policy
General Firearm Purchases
- FFL Required: By federal law, all modern firearms must be shipped to a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer. We cannot ship firearms directly to your home.
- Submitting an FFL: After checkout, please have your chosen dealer email a current copy of their license to lnitzel@okordnance.com with your Order Number in the subject line. We will verify the license via the ATF’s EZ Check system prior to shipment.
- Delivery Requirements: All firearm shipments are sent with an “Adult Signature Required” (21+) and “Direct Delivery Only.” We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or freight forwarders.
- Inspection: Please inspect your firearm at the receiving dealer before completing your background check. Once the transfer is completed, the firearm is considered yours.
NFA Items (Suppressors, SBRs, SBSs, Machine Guns)
- SOT Requirement: NFA items must be shipped to a dealer who holds both an FFL and a Special Occupational Tax (SOT) Class 02 or 03.
- Form 3 Wait Times: Before we can ship your NFA item to your dealer, we must file a tax-exempt ATF Form 3. Shipping will only occur after the ATF approves this form, which can add wait time to your order processing.
- Documentation: Have your receiving dealer send both their FFL and SOT documentation to lnitzel@okordnance.com to avoid processing delays.
Ammunition & Accessories
- Ground Shipping: Ammunition must ship via ground transport and cannot be sent through the USPS. It will be shipped separately from any firearm order.
- Restrictions: Certain states require ammunition to be shipped to an FFL or licensed vendor rather than directly to a residence (see table below).
State & Local Restrictions
It is the buyer’s responsibility to understand and comply with all local, state, and federal laws before placing an order. Orders placed for prohibited items will be canceled and may be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
