This is an authentic M16A1 “Rubber Duck” training rifle from the Ft. Sill TASC inventory. Not in pristine condition, these training aids were notoriously abused by recruits, but it is in excellent condition for its item type.
What Makes This “Rubber Duck” Special?
This particular example stands out due to its rare “roll mark”: Herrington & Richardson—a name sought after by collectors.
Provenance:
Purchased from the daughter of the late retired U.S. Marshall A.D. Templeton, who had served in and around Lawton, OK in the 80s and 90s.
